Hi -Tower Boxers is located 45 miles south of Memphis, TN in the resort community of Sardis, Mississippi near Sardis Lake, where we enjoy picnics, fishing, boating, golf and walking our dogs on the nature trails.
My love for the boxer breed started in early childhood with a boxer named Dutchess who was the family pet. As far back as I can remember we have always had boxers in our family. Boxers have been in our family for more than 40 years!
We never intended to breed our own dogs until the 90's when we started on a quest for a new family member and found ourselves being mislead by so called puppy mills and some "politically" correct show breeders. We decided we would produce our own top quality dogs with our mission being:
To preserve type;
For the betterment of the breed, always trying to breed to the standard;
Improving on health; preserving great temperaments;
To produce our own future champions;
With years of research on the boxer breed we strive for QUALITY above QUANITY. We continue this mission to this day!
We have owner handled our past champions in both boxers and persian /exotic cats but our real passion is in the everyday life with our boxers and family. We no longer have any cats as they have all passed over the rainbow bridge, Shadrack passed at 11 years old and is dearly missed by our family. We have shared our lives with many boxers over the years, many were family pets and never shown or either rescues. After an absence from showing, our children grown, I decided to start showing again, once bitten by the show bug its hard to give it up ! I can't imagine my life without a boxer as I feel they are extraordinary family companions.
The future of Hi -Tower Boxers is to produce boxers with a true boxer temperment, who are intelligent, beautiful and loving companions who exemplify the breed standard. Our breedings being done on a limited basis and planned for health, temperment and conformation.
I have researched the boxer breed for more than 20 years including but not limited to pedigrees and health issues, knowing full well that the journey is never ending. I am a dedicated boxer enthusiast and a member of the American Boxer Charitable Foundation.
