The American Kennel Club is expanding its perks to mix breeds starting April 1, 2010. The AKC Canine Partners Program will now allow mix breeds memberships, benefits include opportunities to compete at dog sporting events such as agility trails and obedience competition plus trial health care plans and enrollment in AKC's lost and found recovery service. Conformation events are not included. If you have a mix breed who you would like to compete in sporting events then here's your chance, get out there, show them what you got and have some fun !
