Below is a copy of our contract for purchasing pet/companion pups, please read if interested in one of our puppies. Our first and utmost concern is the welfare of the puppies and we reserve the right not to sell a puppy if for any reason we feel the placement is not in the pups best interest. We strive to place our puppies in loving forever homes where they are part of the family.We will strive to make your experience of getting your new family member very easy, we will set up all shipping arrangements if necessary and are available for the lifetime of the puppy for assistance should you ever need questions or concerns answered or need to return the pup for any reason at any age. We do not want any of our pups to end up in shelters and feel we are responsible for them for their lifetime.
SHIPPING is available by Puppy Nanny or by Northwest VIP airlines to the closest International Airport to you in the lower 48 states, actual quotes are given prior to shipping your puppy. The Airlines require that the temperature not be above 75 degrees at any arrival or destination point so you will need to be flexible about shipping. Shipping this way requires very early flights and there can be delays due to weather. The Puppy Nannies we use are licensed by the USDA, bonded and insured and are an additional way to get the pup to you should the weather cause us any delays. We encourage our buyers to come here and pick up their new family member in order to see the great environment they are raised in. Puppies must be at least 8 weeks old to ship and require a licensed vet to issue an up to date certificate of health which is included.
EAR CROPS ARE AVAILABLE BY LICENSED VET FOR ADDITIONAL $400.00 AND MUST BE PAID FOR IN FULL BY THE TIME THE PUPPY IS 8 WEEKS OLD, PUPPIES WHO GET THEIR EARS CROPPED CANNOT BE SHIPPED UNTIL AT LEAST 12 WEEKS OLD. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND CROPPING ON PET PUPPIES, ONLY SHOW PROSPECTS, AS THE EARS MAY NEED ADDITIONAL CARE WHICH IS VERY TIME CONSUMING AND MAY REQUIRE ADDITIONAL POSTING AND CARE ON YOUR PART. IT IS A COSMETIC SURGERY AND SHOULD BE TAKEN VERY SERIOUSLY, IF YOU THINK YOU CAN'T COMMIT TO POSTING DON'T CROP, AS IT TAKES ON AVERAGE 4 months to a year to get the ears to stand and then there is no guarantee that they will ! The vet we use for crops is Dr. Lowell Rogers in Hattiesburg, MS which is 4 hours away from us and he has done Deuce, Camille's and Cash's ears with great success and we highly recommend him.
FULL OR LIMITED AKC REGISTRATION
We do not give BREEDING RIGHTS ( FULL REGISTRATION) out to others who just want to breed. Breeding rights will only be given to those who are actively showing or have shown their dogs. We co-own all breeding/show prospects until they have obtained their championship status. Our show prospects are considerably higher price than a pet puppy. We will be happy to introduce you the the world of show dogs and responsible breeding practices if you so desire to learn and make a difference in the future health and welfare of the boxer breed. Limited registration means you may NOT breed the dog but you can compete in all AKC events except conformation.
We take what we do very serious and this is not a business to make money at at the expense of the animals. Making a profit from the sale of puppies is what puppy mills do, we have never made a profit in breeding our dogs period as the expenses of responsible breeders far out weighs any profit. In our effort to produce our own top quality show dogs there is undoubtably times where pet/companion pups are born and available on a limited basis.We do not condone breeding more and more pet pups, as I bet you have seen possibly hundreds or thousands of boxers for sale on the internet, we'd rather you consider a rescue boxer for your companion as there are enough dogs needing homes out there who would make great companions. WE have rescued more boxers than we have raised in our 40+ years owning and showing our dogs. This dog is not being sold under co-ownership terms. Payment in full must be made prior to you taking ownership of the dog, payment is in cash, US postal money order or personal check or CREDIT CARD THROUGH PAYPAL WITH AN ADDITIONAL 3% ADDED TO TOTAL. PLEASE MAKE CHECKS OUT TO ANGELA DONALD. WAL-MART MONEYGRAMS WILL ALSO BE ACCEPTED.
Personal checks must clear before you take possession of the puppy. If shipping is required, full payment must be made 2 weeks prior to shipping. No exceptions.
A $ 200.00 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT WILL HOLD YOUR PUPPY UNTIL 8 WEEKS OF AGE. PUPPIES MUST BE AT LEAST 8 WEEKS OLD TO SHIP. IF FOR ANY REASON THE SELLER FEELS THE PUPPY OF YOUR CHOICE IS NOT GOING TO BE AVAILABLE WE WILL REFUND YOUR DEPOSIT. (MEDICAL REASONS, ALREADY SOLD ,ETC.)
We reserve the right to hold a puppy up until 12 weeks of age if we feel the puppy isn't ready for any reason. Puppies not paid for in full by 8 weeks old will be re-sold.
Health Guarantee:
The seller certifies that, upon receipt, the dog is in good health and has been immunized and wormed according to the accompanying heath record of said dog. This dog has the following conditions now none known and those conditions are excluded from any guarantee and is not valid to reject the puppy due to these conditions.
The buyer agrees to have the dog examined by your veterinarian at your expense within 3 days from date of purchase or possession. If the veterinarian does not give the dog a clean bill of health, buyer must notify the seller immediately and provide documentation from a licensed veterinarian. Seller reserves the right to have the dog re-examined by our veterinarian at our cost.
Any condition that is minor ( worms,vitamin deficiencies, disorders brought on by parasites or any viral bacteria diseases), correctable, or a breed related minor condition (undescending testicles,uneven bites, allergies) is not covered including all skin allergies including demodectic mange and no condition which could go away, including kennel cough( self limiting like the common cold and must run its course, puppies being shipped are at high risk for this and bacterial infections such as coccidia) or is considered to be a condition which a puppy will likely grow out of is not covered.
Congential Defects, 1 Year from date of purchase, Guarantee : If the puppy is found to have a congential defect which is life threatening in the 1st year it must be returned to the seller immediately and a replacement puppy of equal value will be given as soon as one is available, shipping costs of the replacement puppy will be at the buyers expense. Seller will not be responsible for your veterinarian fees or costs.Seller will resume possession of the defected puppy (alive) and no refunds of the purchase price will be given, no shipping charges will be reimbursed and seller will pay for shipping back to her only if the puppy was originally shipped. Seller does not accept responsibility for contagious disease diagnosed after 3 days from date of purchase or possession. Hip and elbow dysplasia and pathological spinal disorder is covered for 1 year from date of purchase with the same conditions as above in effect.
Your dog has been tested and examined for many conditions to assure his health. Heat stroke, exhaustion, dehydration and other heat related conditions are not covered in any way. Remember that a Boxer can over heat quickly and easily may die as a result of over heating. He/She must be a indoor dog. Seller is not responsible for temperament issues as they can be caused by lack of training, discipline and proper dog socialization which is determined by every dogs personality. Every effort has been given to this puppy by the breeder to begin proper training, socialization and discipline. We also reserve the right to choose this pups registered AKC name to be permantently identified, you may choose a call name of your choice.
The Buyer's Responsibility:
The Buyer agrees to take good care of this dog, feed and house the dog properly {indoors}, maintain shots, monthly heartworm preventative, control the dog on a harness or leash when in public and when off the premises of the dog's home. The dog's outdoor area will be fenced in and secure, or acceptable provisions will be made to assure the dog is safe any time he/she is outdoors. Buyer agrees to give the dog proper physical and emotional care and welfare. The buyer must agree to housing the dog indoors as its primary housing. If the dog is found to be allowed to run freely, running at large, creating a public nuisance, or found to be neglected, abused or allowed to live in poor health or poor conditions the Seller has all rights to repossession of this dog with no refund or replacement to the buyer. The death, injury or loss of said dog due to theft, carelessness, recklessness, abuse, neglect, heat stroke or accident will not entitle the buyer to any compensation from the seller.
This dog is warranted only for the purpose of being a companion animal, not for any other purpose or reasons. No warranty is given to the buyer for any special purpose or function of this dog. This dog is not to be used for any illegal or immoral activities and is not to be used for any type of puppymill, dog fighting, dog farm or other mass producing or money making operation. This dog must never be chained outside.
This dog is sold with limited registration (unless otherwise noted) and may NOT be used for breeding. This dog is to be spayed or neutered (unless otherwise noted). Registration will be kept by us until such time that you provide proof that this has be done (must be within 6 months). In the event the buyer is unable to keep this dog for any reason, the Buyer agrees to offer to the Seller the first chance to take this dog back at no charge. Buyer agrees not to sell this dog to any retail company or establishment. Any changes to this contract must be in writing and signed by both parties. This contract is legal and may be enforced by legal means at the buyers expense and all disputes must be settled in the state of MS, County of Panola, Dist 1. This dog is sold to you as a pet only and nothing further.
Notes: THIS PUPPY MAY NOT BE USED FOR BREEDING AND IS SOLD ON A LIMITED REGISTRATION BASIS.
WE DO NOT REFUND MONEY BUT WILL REPLACE A PUPPY IF IT IS DIAGNOSED WITH CERTAIN GENETIC LIFE THREATENING DISEASES WITHIN 1 YEAR OF POSSESSION.
The Care and feeding instructions were given to you along with the health and shot records for this dog. Enjoy your new PUPPY! PLEASE SEND PHOTOS OF NEW PUPPY AS HE GROWS UP.
This is the entire agreement (2 pages) between the parties and is valid and agreed to by all parties and is non-transferable. All parties have read and understood and agreed to this contract in full by signing below.
